A Little History About the Company

Thomas Schuh, Founder/CEO

In 2010, after 24 years in sales and rentals at an equipment dealer, I was displaced during a business buy-out transition. I decided to pursue my vision for developing balloon light conversions for light towers—a concept no one had applied in this way before. The results exceeded my expectations.

I also aimed to create a single balloon light adaptable to various applications, such as MoonGlo Balloon Lights for road construction and public maintenance, search and rescue efforts, outdoor parties and special events, mining operations, flagger stations, disaster recovery efforts, emergency public utility repairs, farming and agriculture work, crime scene lighting, and much more.

Additionally, I developed a lighting conversion system for contractors and rental yards that fits their light towers, improves performance, and is durable, rebuildable, and reliable.

In later years, my son Jerred returned to Oregon after working in Silicon Valley. He expanded MoonGlo Work Light's reach through the worldwide web, creating websites, videos, and online marketing strategies.
